PROLENE™ Sutures (clear or pigmented) are non-absorbable, sterile surgical sutures composed of an isotactic crystalline steroisomer of polypropylene, a synthetic linear polyolefin. The suture is dyed blue to enhance visibility and do not adhere to tissue and are therefore efficacious as a pull-out suture. PROLENE Sutures are relatively biologically inert, offering proven strength, reliability, and versatility.
