Ionolux is a light-cured, radiopaque, biocompatible and aesthetic resin-modified glass ionomer restorative material.  It has a mixing time of 10 seconds, a working time of 2.5 minutes and light-curing takes 20 seconds.  This material can be packed and contoured immediately after placement and offers fluoride release.  No conditioner or bonding agent is required.  Ionolux is contained in a direct activation capsule that is activated by pressing it down on a hard surface before trituration, after which the tip is turned upwards for application of the material into the preparation.  Ionolux is available in shades A1, A2, A3, A3.5 and B1 in boxes containing 20 capsules of one shade. Boxes of 50 capsules with 10 capsules each of shades A1 and A3 together with 30 capsules of shade A2 are also available, as well as boxes of 150 capsules in shades A2 or A3.

Admira Fusion is direct restorative that combines nano-hybrid technology and Ormocer technology.  It handles similarly to resin composite, yet this all ceramic-based material is completely free of classic monomers.  Admira Fusion has a filler content of 84% by weight, flexural strength of 132 MPa and a compressive strength of 307 MPa.  Its depth of cure is 2.7 mm.  Admira Fusion is available in 18 shades, in three levels of translucency.  It is supplied in 3g syringes and individually packaged 0.2g capsules.  Curing time is 20 seconds for most shades.  Admira Fusion is indicated for all classes of direct restorations.  Additionally VOCO offers Admira Fusion x-tra, a universal shade, bulk-fill material with a 4mm depth of cure.
